Wayne Miller Coins

Wayne Miller is widely regarded as the most influential silver dollar dealer and researcher in American numismatic history. Born and raised in Helena, Montana — where Morgan dollars were used in daily commerce — he developed an intimate understanding of these coins that few have matched.
After personally examining over two million silver dollars and spending years in meticulous research, Miller published two seminal works that transformed silver dollars from overlooked coins into highly sought collectibles: An Analysis of Morgan and Peace Dollars (1976) and The Morgan and Peace Dollar Textbook (1982).
His personal collection — assembled over 15 years and regarded as the finest of its kind — sold for over $1.2 million at auction in 1986. Half the proceeds funded the God’s Love homeless shelter in Helena, which his wife Ann continues to operate today.
His coin shop at 38 N. Last Chance Gulch — just steps from where gold was first discovered in Helena in 1864 — has served collectors and investors since 1981.
